Pest Facts: Crazy Ants
This ant gets its name from its habit of running about in an erratic,jerky manner with no sense of direction when searching for food. These tiny insects range in size from one-sixteenth of an inch to one-eighth of an inch long.

Acrobat ants have a preference for high protein foods. They feed primarily on seeds, insects, and honeydew from aphids.
Typically nest outdoors under heavy vegetation, mulch beds, and in tree holes. They will also nest in potted plants.
A stinger is absent and workers may feed on almost any household food.
